A Mega Drive war game from the Daisenryaku strategy series that supports the Mega Modem and is cheaper than most Japan-only carts.

Advanced Daisenryaku: Deutsch Dengeki Sakusen is a war strategy game for the Mega Drive, developed and published by Sega. It belongs to the long-running Daisenryaku series, which began in Japan in 1985 on the NEC PC-98. This one came out only in Japan, on 17 June 1991, and plays alone or against another person through the Mega Modem.

Before you buy

Among Japan-only carts it sits below the middle. Japanese cartridges have a different shape and do not fit a Western console without an adapter or removing two plastic tabs in its slot. The page lists a save battery inside the cartridge, so check that a save holds; a replaced battery is a normal repair, not a sign of a fake. Sega Retro lists it as supporting the Mega Modem.
