A combat flight game from the Genesis's early days that costs little among US carts.

Air Diver is a combat flight simulator developed by Copya System. Asmik released it in Japan in March 1990, and Seismic Software published it in North America the following month. It was one of the first third-party games to reach North America for the Genesis.

It is an unusual early Genesis pick, a flight game rather than an arcade-style action cart, and one collectors can pick up for little.

Before you buy

Among US carts it sits below the median, so there is little reason to pay extra. The Japanese cart usually costs a little less loose but noticeably more complete, and its cartridge is a different shape from a Western one. A complete US copy means the case, cartridge and manual.
