A cheerful Operation Wolf-style shooter that is on the easy side, and a sensible budget pickup.

“Assault City is initially quite playable, but what's new? The joypad/joystick response is sluggish, resulting in a frustrating, repetitive game. 30 quid*? You must be joking.”
“It's Op Wolf time with Assault City. Shoot those robots to make the world a better place. Assault City's graphics are quite jolly, and the game is fun, although somewhat easy. One for non-light phaser owning Operation Wolf fans.”
“A superb shoot-’em-up in all areas. The action is kept fast and furious and even though there are only six levels, iťs quite a challenge.”

Before you buy
This is a European release, so a European buyer can shop locally; a copy sold as American is most likely a European cart, and a box with text in five to eight languages confirms it. Loose it sits right around the middle of the pack, and the look-alike risk is low. Make sure the manual is included on a complete copy.
