One game sold under several names by different labels, interesting mainly to multi-label collectors.

Astrowar belongs to the European and Asian multi-label releases: the same game issued under different titles by different publishers. Its other names include Missile War / Astrowar, War 2000, Meteor Defense and the German Kampf im Asteroiden-Gürtel. The earliest listed release is 1983.

Little else is documented about the game itself beyond its titles and that release year.

Before you buy

Low risk, with no documented reproductions. Because the same game circulates under several names, check which title and publisher appear on the label in the photos, and match it to the name you are collecting. If you only want to play the game, any of the labels will do.
