A mid-priced platform sequel, with the same price in either region.

Bubsy II is Accolade's 1994 platform sequel, released in North America on 15 October 1994 and in Europe on 28 October 1994. The Genesis and Super NES versions are virtually identical. The story sends Bubsy into the Amazatorium, where Oinker P. Spamm is out to hog all of reality.

In previews Electronic Games said it would add special objects and mini-game sequences, and Sega Pro promised better graphics and more animations, moves and levels than the first game.

— Computer + Video Games, October 1994

“While this sequel has a nice non-linear touch, some of the levels are very repetitious.”

— Game Players, April 1995
