About College Football's National Championship II
It still has the standard set of modes such as Exhibition, Tournament and Season and updated rosters for the top schools of the time, reflecting the 1994 season. There are 32 teams with five added ones to this version (Wisconsin, North Carolina, Colorado State, Oregon and Washington State), however to add these schools five others were taken out that were in the previous game (San Diego State, Pitt, LSU, Arkansas and Houston). It also keeps track of 19 different stats along with authentic offensive and defensive plays attributed to each team.

A smooth-playing BlueSky college football game with a battery save, and about as cheap as US carts get.
College Football's National Championship II is a Genesis football game made by BlueSky Software and published by Sega, released in North America in 1995. Its 32 schools carry updated stats and attributes based on the 1994-95 season, and you can create your own team, players and divisions.
Next Generation gave the Genesis game four stars out of five and liked how smoothly the camera zooms in close for runs and passes, which it said greatly improves play. EA's College Football USA, with its 107 Division I-A teams, evened things up that year.
What the press said at the time
“Notify the next of kin. Sega’s hopes of a national championship are dead on arrival.”
Before you buy
Among US carts it is one of the cheapest, far below the middle. The cartridge saves to a battery inside it, so check that a save holds; a replaced battery is a normal repair, not a sign of a fake. Sega Retro lists the game as supporting Sega's Team Player multitap and using the six-button pad.
