About Daze Before Christmas
In Daze Before Christmas, you're Santa. According to the game's Christmas calender, you have 24 areas to explore such as factories, workshops, caves, and more. Each area is filled with nasty enemies like penguins, jack-in-the-boxes, helicopters, snowmen, and many others. Furthermore, after every five areas, Santa has to come face-to-face with not only The Evil Snowman, The Timekeeper, and Louse the Mouse, but also Mr. Weather.

A cute, colorful Funcom platformer that came out on the Mega Drive only in Australia, and one of the priciest PAL carts.
Daze Before Christmas is a platformer developed by the Norwegian company Funcom for the Mega Drive and published by Sunsoft in Australia in 1994; the Mega Drive version was released only there. Its lead Mega Drive programmer, Carl-Henrik Skårstedt, has said the game took about a year to develop.
A Mega Zone reviewer thought the game cute and cuddly, with colorful, well-rounded graphics, but found the backgrounds repetitive.
How the Sega Genesis version differs
The Mega Drive version was released only in Australia, alongside Ecco Jr. and Fatal Fury 2.
Mega Zone scored the Mega Drive version 52/100, finding the backgrounds repetitive and the gameplay too simple for anyone but younger players.
