A shooting-gallery port that trims the arcade game down, and was already marked down for its scrolling at the time.
Dead Angle began as a 1988 mobster-themed arcade shooter from Seibu Kaihatsu, in which you rescue your girlfriend from a mob boss. Sega published the Master System port, which reached North America in November 1989 and Europe in January 1990.
The port leaves out several levels, including the whole Kansas stage, and Computer and Video Games faulted its jerky scrolling in its January 1990 issue.

How the Sega Master System version differs
The Master System port drops the shotgun and grenades, and background objects can no longer be damaged.
Computer and Video Games later rated it 83% in its Complete Guide to Sega, calling it an Operation Wolf-style coin-op conversion.

Before you buy
Buy the European cart if you are happy with it: it costs noticeably less than the US one, loose and complete. The US cart sits above the middle of the price range for US games. Check that the manual is there, since it is the part most often missing from a complete copy.
