A film-licensed Genesis platformer that is one of the pricier US carts despite a mixed reception.

On the Genesis, Pocahontas is a side-scrolling platformer based on the 1995 Disney film. Funcom developed it under contract to Disney, and it came out in North America in March 1996 and in Europe on 12 September 1996. A Super NES version was in development but cancelled because it was too far behind to coincide with the Genesis release.

Its reception was mixed but generally favorable.

Before you buy

This is one of the pricier US carts, well above the middle of the group. The European cart usually costs more than the US one, both loose and complete. A complete US copy means the case, cartridge and manual.
