Ex-Mutants is a Genesis action game based on Malibu's rebooted comic book series, developed by Malibu Interactive and published by Sega. You play Ackroyd and Shannon. It reached North America in 1992 and Europe in February 1993.
Sega Pro gave it a lukewarm review, praising the detailed graphics and sound but saying the gameplay let it down. Mean Machines Sega agreed it was not visually stunning, yet found it long and hard enough to satisfy even a demanding player.
