Sega Pro Issue 36September 199482%

“Despite its poor-looking graphics, Fl Circus is a really good game It's very fast, there's plenty to do, including pit stops and car customising. Only on import, but well worth checking out.”

— MegaTech, March 1992

“Despite its poor-looking graphics, F! Circus is a really good game. It’s very fast, there’s plenty to do, including pit stops and car”

— MegaTech, September 1992

“If realism gets your motor running (even at the expense of lush graphics) then check this out.”

— Mega, July 1993

“Looks a tad odd but plays well. Second on the grid to the successful Super Monaco series. Graphics have suffered only in the course of providing you with a greater simulation of F1 life, which seems a pretty reasonable compromise.”

— Mega Action, July 1993

Before you buy

It is one of the cheaper Japan-only carts. The cartridge keeps some data in battery-backed memory, so test that a save holds; a replaced battery is a normal repair and not a sign of a fake. Japanese carts are a different shape and do not fit a Western console without an adapter or removing two plastic tabs in its slot.
