Mark Turmell's early platformer on a Fox cartridge, cheap and easy to find.
Mark Turmell and Sirius Software developed Fast Eddie, and Fox Video Games published the 2600 version in October 1982. It is a platform game. Sirius published the home computer versions itself. Little is documented about the 2600 version in particular.
What the press said at the time
| Computer Entertainer Vol. 1 No. 8 | November 1982 | Graphics ★★★ · Play-Action ★★★ |
| The Video Game Update Vol. 1 No. 4 | July 1982 | Graphics ★★ · Play-Action ★★½ |
“We found this an enjoyable variation on the climbing theme, and it's one that has enough difficulty levels to appeal to all ages. Recommended.”
“We'll have to see more before we get too excited about these.”
Computer Entertainer rated graphics first and play action second, from four symbols (excellent) to one (poor) — stars in most years, diamonds in 1986–87 — comparing each game only with other games for the same system.
