A fast Out Run-style racer-shooter from Titus that reviewers liked, and an average-priced European cart.

Fire & Forget II, developed and published by Titus, came out on the Master System in Europe in November 1990. It is a futuristic racing-shooter, one of several that appeared in the wake of Sega's Out Run, and it is known for the variety of its enemy sprites and its parallax scrolling.

The Master System version was well received by Mean Machines, Computer and Video Games and Console XS.

— Mean Machines Sega, November 1992

“One of the best road racers for the Master System, Fire and Forget Il is definitely worthy of a place in your collection.”

— Mean Machines Sega, October 1992

“Fire and Forget Il's zoom-up-the-road action is very fast and pretty tough, almost to the point of being off-putting. However, once you get used to the speed of things, you start getting into the action and rise to the considerable challenge. A must for addicts of highway violence!”

— Mean Machines Sega, December 1992

“Sod the storyline, leťs just stick a gun on the car ta and see how it goes. Well it doesn't go too bad, actually The best attempt at a car chaser yet.”

— Sega Pro, July 1994

Before you buy

Only the European cart exists. It sits at about the typical price for European-only carts, and the look-alike risk is low. A US buyer can use it, since the US console plays European carts.
