Great Football is a Sega football game, released in Japan on 29 April 1987, in North America in July 1987 and in Europe in September 1988. Computer Entertainer's 1987 coverage lists it among Sega's Great sports games, alongside Great Baseball and Great Golf.

Before you buy
Three releases exist. The US cart is among the cheapest loose carts in its group. The European cart costs more than the US one, loose and complete, and the Japanese cart costs much more loose. The Japanese cart is a different, smaller shape that does not fit a Western console without an adapter, so it is only worth buying if you want it for that reason.
