A film tie-in that gets better once you learn it, and one of the dearest European-only carts.

This is the Master System version of Home Alone, developed by Probe Software and published by Sega in Europe on 7 June 1993. Kevin walks through 30 levels across six kinds of houses, including bonus levels, avoiding Harry and Marv while collecting valuables such as rings and pots and putting them in a safe before time runs out.

Sega Master Force praised the graphics as crisp and clear and liked the catchy music, though it found the first few levels dreadfully basic. Matt Furniss composed the music.

What the press said at the time

Sega Master Force Issue 3October 199361%

“Poor old Kevin’s been abandoned by his parents and has to defend his house from two bungling burglars. Puzzle solving and platform action make Home Alone a decent game.”

— Sega Master Force, October 1993
