A Japan-only Patlabor licensed game with a save battery, priced above the middle for a Japanese cart.

Kidō Keisatsu Patlabor: 98-Shiki Kidou Seyo! is a Mega Drive game from Ma-Ba, released only in Japan on 23 October 1992. It is based on Patlabor, the mecha franchise about a Tokyo police unit that handles construction robots gone wrong, which began airing in 1988.

Before you buy

It came out only in Japan, and among Japan-only carts it sits above the middle. A Japanese cartridge is a different shape and fits a Western console only with an adapter or after removing two plastic tabs in its slot. The page lists a save battery that matters in some modes, so check that a save holds; a replaced battery is a normal repair, not a sign of a fake.
