The Color remake of one of the nine monochrome 1998 launch titles — a straightforward shogi implementation from ADK, with head-to-head play over a link cable. It is the least expensive Neo Geo Pocket Color cartridge with any recorded sales, which makes it the cheapest possible way to own a Japanese cartridge for the system.

Databases and price guides also list it as Shogi no Tatsujin Color, which is the transliterated Japanese title and where half the confusion comes from.
