A pack-in shooting-gallery cartridge that is only worth buying if you own, or are buying, a Menacer light gun.
The Menacer 6-Game Cartridge is the cartridge that came with Sega's Menacer light gun, a collection of mostly shooting-gallery games. Western Technologies and Johnson-Voorsanger Productions developed it for Sega, and it came out in North America in October 1992 and in Europe on 19 November 1992. Producer Mac Senour designed the six-game pack.
Sega Retro lists the Menacer as required to play it.
What the press said at the time
“The Menacer empties its barrel with a six-games-in-one cart included right in the box. Ready, Aim, Tomatoes! is squishy, sloppy fun, but the other games are average by the half-dozen.”
Before you buy
The cartridge does little without the gun, so check that you have a working Menacer. Among US carts it sits near the bottom on price, and the European cart usually costs less again. A complete copy means the case, cartridge and manual.
