The monochrome football game that became a Color remake and, twenty-three years later, a Switch re-release.
Released in October 1998 for the monochrome machine, remade in colour in 1999, and included in its Color form on NEOGEO POCKET COLOR SELECTION Vol. 2. This is the original, and the only one of the three versions that is monochrome.
Even in 1998 it linked for two-player matches — the link cable was central to how SNK sold this platform from the very first cartridges, not something added once the Color arrived.
