A fully licensed football game from the Genesis era, now very cheap.
This is the Genesis cartridge of NFL Football '94 Starring Joe Montana, made by BlueSky Software and published by Sega. North America got it in November 1993 and Japan received it as NFL Football '94 on 4 February 1994. It is the fifth Joe Montana Football game and the fourth made by BlueSky.
Unlike the earlier Joe Montana Football, it carries both NFL and NFLPA licenses, with all 28 teams of the time, their players and their attributes for the 1993 season, and it features running commentary.
What the press said at the time
“Joe Montana delivers the NFL teams, players, and numbers, as well as the trademark Sega Sports-Talk play announcing, incredible graphics, and more than 100 possible play combinations.”

Before you buy
Among US carts it is one of the cheapest. The Japanese cart usually costs much less loose and noticeably less complete, and it has a different cartridge shape. The cartridge saves to a battery inside it, so test that a save holds; a replaced battery is a normal repair and not a sign of a fake.
