One climbing game sold under half a dozen names, which is the story collectors buy it for.
This is one of the 2600's multi-label games: the same cartridge released by different publishers, under different names, in different markets. It appears as Open Sesame, Tom Boy / Open Sesame, Teddy Apple, Sesam, Öffne Dich, Apples and Dolls and I Want My Mommy.
I Want My Mommy is the North American release, published by Zimag in 1983 under its KidStuff logo, which marked games aimed at children under nine. It is a platform game, what the US press then called a climbing game. Teddy Apple came from Home Vision and Apples and Dolls from CCE.
How it was made
Released in North America by Zimag in 1983 as I Want My Mommy, and sold elsewhere under other names, including Teddy Apple (Home Vision) and Apples and Dolls (CCE).
What the press said at the time
| Computer Entertainer Vol. 1 No. 12 | March 1983 | Graphics ★★★ · Play-Action ★★★ |
“This is a fairly simple game, appropriate to the age group for which it's designed, though it may be a bit too difficult for very young children. Graphics are very colorful, and there is an appealing musical theme at the beginning of the game.”
Computer Entertainer rated graphics first and play action second, from four symbols (excellent) to one (poor) — stars in most years, diamonds in 1986–87 — comparing each game only with other games for the same system.

Before you buy
Low risk. Read the label to see which release you have, since the name tells you the publisher and market, and collectors of the relabel scene often want several. None of the names is documented as a reproduction target.
