Japan Vistec's Pocket Parlor is a companion to the Pachinko Hisshō Guide magazine line: a portable reference and simulation tool for pachinko players, released in November 1999. It is the clearest example on the platform of a cartridge that is not really a video game at all.

It arrived before Aruze took control of SNK, which matters — it shows the pachinko audience was already being served here, rather than the eight Aruze machine simulators being a wholly new direction imposed from outside.
