A small puzzle-adventure that came to Europe on a two-game cart and had its own cartridge in Japan.

Pit Pot was developed by Sega and released in Japan on 14 December 1985 as Fushigi no Oshiro Pit Pot, sold on its own. In Europe, in October 1987, it was released as a double cartridge with Astro Warrior.

How it was made

Developed by Sega, with Toshinori Asai credited as producer and programmer and Hiroshi Kawaguchi as composer.

Before you buy

The European version is the two-in-one cart with Astro Warrior, so look for that cart rather than a single-game one. The Japanese cart is a separate release and is a different, smaller shape that does not fit a Western console without an adapter.
