About Pocket Tennis Color
Pocket Tennis a simple tennis game with two play modes: Exhibition and Tournament. Exhibition is a single match against computer or human opponent (requires link cable). There do exist eight player characters with different skills (human player must select one of those eight characters too) and four (five in the color version) different courts. Also amount of sets per game can be selected (1, 3 or 5). Tournament is only against computer. Human player can pick his/her character but not the computer opponent. Also selection of courts and amount of sets is missing. Three games will be played: quarter and semifinals and of course the final

Pocket Tennis Color is a game from the Pocket Sports series for the Neo-Geo Pocket as Pocket Tennis in 1998 and re-released on the Neo Geo Pocket Color handheld game system. It features eight main characters with two secret, unlockable tennis pros. The game was later re-released as part of Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 2 in 2022.

A monochrome launch title remade in colour, and a surprisingly deep little tennis game.
Yumekobo's tennis game was one of the nine monochrome Neo Geo Pocket releases in 1998 and got a Color remake in 1999. It is simple to pick up and has more shot variety than it first appears, and the microswitched stick makes placement genuinely controllable.
It is on NEOGEO POCKET COLOR SELECTION Vol. 2 for the Nintendo Switch.
