Konami's pig-and-wolves arcade shooter in a modest home version, cheap and easy to find.
Pooyan began as a 1982 Konami arcade game in which Mama, a pig, defends her kidnapped babies from a pack of wolves. Konami published the 2600 version itself in 1983, with Gakken handling the PAL release. Little is documented about how the cartridge was made or how it compares with the arcade original.

Before you buy
Low risk; no reproductions are documented for this title. Loose copies are inexpensive. If you are buying a PAL copy, check the publisher on the label and remember that a PAL cart on an NTSC console and TV will roll and show odd colors.
