About Radar Lock

You're locked in fight-to-the-death air combat with the enemy! You may be outnumbered -- somehow you've been separated from your buddies -- but this is far from your first mission. You've been flying your trusty little delta-wing fighter for more months than you care to remember.

Doug Neubauer's late combat flight game, one of the more ambitious Atari Corp cartridges.

Doug Neubauer programmed Radar Lock, a combat flight simulation that Atari Corp released for the 2600 in August 1989, with single-player and multiplayer modes. Neubauer had earlier made M*A*S*H for Fox and Solaris for Atari, and Radar Lock is another late-era 2600 original from him.

Before you buy

Low risk. No reproductions are documented. Late Atari Corp carts use a universal 2600/7800 shell with no dust door and a cheaper gray label, which new collectors sometimes mistake for a fake. That is the correct shell for this game.
