A light-gun cart that is useless without the Light Phaser and cheap enough to buy as a companion.
Shooting Gallery was developed and published by Sega and came out in North America in March 1987 and in Europe in August 1987. It is a light-gun game.
What the press said at the time
| Mean Machines Sega Issue 3 | December 1992 | OVERALL 70% |
| Sega Pro Issue 20 | June 1993 | 70% |
“This is the cartridge you used to get free with the Sega light Phaser, and features three different shooting games. Zap targets in a police-style firing range before they spin around and disappear, down clay pigeons and zap small animals in a jungle sce¬ nario. Worth a go.”
“This is highiy over-priced. OnIy four simple rounds of shooting various targets. Much better with a few players, so grab the famlly and gather round.”
Before you buy
You need the Light Phaser to play it. The European cart costs more than the US one, loose and complete. The loose price is one of the lowest of the US-released carts, and the look-alike risk is low.
