About Skiing
Skiing is a 1-4 player sports game that was released a year after Coleco discontinued the system. The two events are Slalom (pass between a set number of gates) and Downhill (avoid moguls on the course), and the objective is to finish in the quickest possible time.

A Telegames exclusive sports cartridge from 1986, a late and minor release.
Skiing was published by Telegames in 1986 and is one of the publisher's own releases for the ColecoVision, rather than a re-pressing of a Coleco title. Almost nothing about its play is documented, so this is a short entry.
Worth knowing
- From the ColecoVision manual. Pressing fire before the start tone is a false start and costs a 10 second penalty.
- From the ColecoVision manual. Courses are generated randomly each time you select a new skill level or event, so no two runs use the same course.
- From the ColecoVision manual. In the slalom event each missed gate adds a 5 second penalty at the end of your turn.
Before you buy
A Telegames cartridge: genuine but late, with variable shells and labels, and a high reported failure rate, so test it. A museum list calls it uncommon. The documented complete box for Telegames titles is a plastic clamshell with an insert sheet.
