Chess with animated Star Wars battles that Sega Pro found slowed the game down, and a rather thin reason to own it on Sega CD.

This is the Sega CD version of Star Wars Chess, developed by The Software Toolworks. The Software Toolworks published it in North America in May 1994, and Mindscape published it in Europe in October 1994.

Sega Pro was unimpressed: the animated battles between the pieces, all Star Wars characters, tried to liven up chess but soon irritated by slowing the game down even more.
