Konami's own 2600 version of its 1981 tank shooter, inexpensive and little known.

Strategy X began as a 1981 Konami arcade game in which you drive a tank through stages, destroying enemies and collecting fuel. Konami published the Atari 2600 version itself in 1983, and Gakken is listed as the PAL publisher. Little else is documented about the 2600 version.

Before you buy

Low risk, with no documented reproductions. Loose carts are inexpensive and boxed copies cost a few times more. Sealed copies are priced far above complete ones, so a sealed purchase is a packaging purchase; inspect the shrink-wrap closely.
