A fast, good-looking shooter that lacks variety, and a cart worth having in either its US or Japanese form.
This is a shoot-'em-up from A.I, published by Kyugo. It came out in Japan on 29 March 1991 as Super Airwolf and in North America in 1991 as Cross Fire.
Sega Pro reviewed the import and said it packs a punch, with very fast gameplay and superb graphics, but ultimately lacks variation.
What the press said at the time
“Aiso known as Crossfire, this shoot- - ’em-up certainiy paeks a punch. Very fast gameplay and superb graphics makes it a winner, but it ultimately”

Among US carts it sits above the middle, and the risk is low. The Japanese cart (Super Airwolf) usually costs noticeably more than the US one, and it has a different cartridge shape. A complete US copy means the case, cartridge and manual.
