The limited-release third Swordquest game, and a hard cartridge to fake.
Swordquest was an Atari contest series of action-adventure games: Earthworld, Fireworld and Waterworld were finished, and a fourth, Airworld, was planned. Waterworld, programmed by Tod Frye, had only a limited release. Titles sometimes appear on labels and boxes with a capital central W, as WaterWorld.
It is on Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration if you only want to play it.
How it was made

Worth knowing
- $10 at KayBee, 1986. In January 1986 The Video Game Update passed on a collector's report "that KayBee Toy Stores has gotten in a pretty fair amount of Atari's WATERWORLD for the 2600 at a price of $10.00."
- Contest deadline extended. Atari Age extended the WaterWorld contest: "entries postmarked by April 15, 1984, and received by the judging agency by April 30, 1984".
Before you buy
Low risk. No fakes are documented, and Atari's silver-era labels contain a thin foil layer that AtariAge's administrator describes as really hard to reproduce accurately. Check the label against a scan anyway. The box and manual carry much of a complete copy's value, so check that both are present.
