Before you buy
The Brazilian Tec Toy cart is the one to look for. Among the Brazil-only games it is one of the cheaper carts, and the look-alike risk is low. Check the case and manual if you want a complete copy.

The Sega Genesis version
A cartoon platformer that looks like a Looney Tunes short and plays at an ordinary level, and a cheap cart.
This is the Genesis version of Taz in Escape from Mars, developed by HeadGames and published by Sega. North America got it in August 1994 and Europe on 23 September 1994. Marvin the Martian has carried Taz off to Mars, and Taz has to get out through six worlds of two or three levels each. His Tornado Spin crashes through weak walls, and his appetite hands out power-ups and penalties.
Game Players called it less a game than a Warner Brothers cartoon you can control, and Electronic Gaming Monthly's four reviewers were divided on it. A separate Game Gear version exists, which GamePro judged vastly inferior to this one.
What the press said at the time
| Sega Pro Issue 43 | April 1995 | 83% |
“In this superb sequel to the 1992 game, Taz in Escape from Mars eats its way into tlie side-scrolling hall of fame.”
“This isn’t so much a game as it is a real Warner Brothers car¬ toon that you can control. The Taz is back and eating everything in his path to escape from Marvin the Martian.”
“Follow-up to Taz-Mania featuring more top-notch animation. The platform action is good fun, if a little predictable.”

Before you buy
Among US carts it is on the cheap side, below the middle. The European cart usually costs a little more than the US one in both loose and complete condition. A cardboard-box edition is priced separately from the plastic-case copy.
