Konami's well-regarded Turtles brawler, and an expensive cart that is a known repro target.
The Hyperstone Heist is a side-scrolling beat 'em up developed and published by Konami, and it was Konami's first Genesis title. It came out in Japan as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Return of the Shredder on 22 December 1992, in North America in December 1992 and in Europe as Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist in April 1993.
It is often ranked well among Genesis games: Complex put it 68th in its best 100 Genesis games, and ScrewAttack placed it 19th, though it called it a clone of Turtles in Time.

“Much like the popular coin-op, this is a scrolling beat 'em up in which one or two players can take their favourite Turtle on a Foot Clan-smashing mission. Tremendous graphics and sound, but the fighting isn't hard work at all and experienced players will be able to beat the game easily.”

Before you buy
Among US carts this is one of the priciest, and the risk tier is Medium: it is a known repro target. A Western Genesis cart has no notch in its shell, so a flat shell with a notch is a repro sign, and for a copy at this price compare a photo of the board with the board listed on this page. The European cart usually costs somewhat more than the US one, while the Japanese cart (Return of the Shredder) usually costs far more and has a different cartridge shape.
