A Japan-only mahjong game that supports the Mega Modem that sits near the bottom of its group on price.

Tel-Tel Mahjong is a mahjong game from Sunsoft, released in Japan on 8 June 1990, and it came out only there. It is part of Sunsoft's Tel-Tel series, which also includes Tel-Tel Stadium, and it was one of the few games to use the Mega Modem. Via the Sega Net Work System it allowed two-player games, and up to three players could play the host in addition to computer opponents.

Before you buy

Among Japan-only carts its loose price sits near the bottom, and the risk of a fake is low. Sega Retro lists it as supporting the Mega Modem. Japanese cartridges are a different shape from Western ones and do not fit a Western console without an adapter or removing two plastic tabs in its slot.
