A Wild West shooter built around the Light Phaser.
Wanted is a shoot 'em up from Sega, developed by Sanritsu and released in North America in August 1989 and in Europe in November 1989. You play a sheriff in the American Old West who must eliminate bandits from around the cities. Computer Entertainer described it as the latest shooting game from Sega, requiring the Light Phaser.
Some copies were released with misprinted cover art that described Cloud Master by mistake.

What the press said at the time
| Mean Machines Sega Issue 3 | December 1992 | OVERALL 70% |
| Sega Pro Issue 36 | September 1994 | 78% |
“If you're keen on shooting gallery style games, this is worth taking a look at. It's by no means a brilliant game, but if you're after a something to use with your light gun you could do a lot worse than this.”
“Rootin’ tootin’ varmint-blowing Phaser fun as you are appointed sheriff of the town and told to clean up the place. You might even enjoy it and the extra controls are welcomed!”
Before you buy
You need the Light Phaser to play it. The European cart usually costs a good deal less loose, though a complete European copy costs a little more than a complete US one. Loose, the US cart sits about at the middle of American games, and the look-alike risk is low. If the cover describes Cloud Master, it is a known misprint rather than a sign of a wrong cartridge. Check that the manual is there, since it is the part most often missing from a complete copy.
