A plain Hudson Soft tennis game that mostly matters as a PAL cart, because the European release is the one that sells for real money.

Centre Court Tennis is the European release of a Hudson Soft tennis game for the Nintendo 64. Japan got it first, as Let's Smash, in October 1998, and Gaga Interactive Media published it in Europe in 1999. It supports single-player and multiplayer play.

It is a straightforward tennis game, best suited to collectors completing a Hudson Soft or European set.

“Not everything we hoped for from the N64's first tennis game, but an entertaining, jolly little game, nonetheless. One to ponder.”

— N64 Magazine, Christmas 1998

“Centre Court is a sturdy tennis game, with an attractive multiplayer. It’s a long, looooong way from being perfect, but, well, it's a good first effort.”

— N64 Magazine, February 1999

Before you buy

The PAL cart is the dearer release, and loose and complete copies are priced at about the same level. The Japanese Let's Smash release is a separate release and costs much less loose and noticeably less complete, so it is the better value if you can read the menus. Fake risk is low.
