A Japan-only Mega Drive tie-in to the Crayon Shin-chan franchise that costs more than most Japanese-only carts.

Crayon Shin-chan: Arashi o Yobu Enji is a Mega Drive game based on Yoshito Usui's Crayon Shin-chan, the manga that became a long-running TV Asahi anime. SIMS developed it and Ma-Ba published it, and it came out only in Japan on 11 March 1994.

What the press said at the time

“Unlike a lot of poor translations from hit cartoons, this one promises to capture all the charms of Shin-chan with plenty of cinemas and digitized speech. It’s weird, but way cool.”

— Electronic Gaming Monthly, March 1994

Before you buy

Among Japan-only carts this one costs more than most. A Japanese cartridge has a different shape and will not fit a Western console without an adapter or removing two plastic tabs in its slot.
