A pleasant, young-skewing Disney platformer port that GameFan counted among the better Disney movie games.
This is the Nintendo 64 version of Tarzan, Eurocom's platformer based on the Disney film, published by Activision in North America in February 2000 and in the PAL regions that April. The PlayStation version came first.
Electronic Gaming Monthly's January 2000 preview said it was simple, aimed at younger players, with mostly side-scrolling levels livened up by an elephant stampede, bird flight and vine surfing. GameFan (February 2000) called it a port of an awesome PlayStation platformer and one of the most impressive Disney movie adaptations yet, and Next Generation said it borrowed the best platform-game tricks and put them together in one package.

Before you buy
Low fake risk. The US cart sits about at the library median on price, and PAL copies cost more, about two-thirds more loose and about six times as much complete. A Big box edition is also listed, and complete copies of it cost many times a standard complete copy, so check which one a listing offers. A complete standard copy costs more than twice the loose price.
