A Disney platformer that the 1995 press ranked among the year's best Genesis games.

Disney Interactive developed Gargoyles and Buena Vista Interactive published it, an adaptation of the animated series. It came out only in North America, on 21 November 1995, after planning for a release in May. Goliath, Demona and the Viking enemies have a hand-drawn look, while the robot enemies use a computer-modeled one.

GameFan called it Disney's first in-house Genesis game and a hit, long and challenging, with dark locales reminiscent of Demon's Crest. Next Generation named it one of the year's biggest surprises, praising its graphics and moves such as climbing walls and smashing through glass.
