A Konami puzzle-game port that stayed in Japan, for collectors of Konami's puzzlers.

Susume! Taisen Puzzle Dama: Tōkon! Marutama Chō is a puzzle game that Konami Computer Entertainment Kobe developed and Konami released in Japan on March 26, 1998. It is a port of the arcade and PlayStation game Susume! Taisen Puzzle-Dama from 1996, and it also brings in characters and gameplay from the spin-off Taisen Tokkae-Dama.

It is a Japan-only release in Japanese, so it suits players who read the language.

How it was made

Developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Kobe and published by Konami.

What the press said at the time

“A rattlingly good puzzler with a few nifty additions. But, it's Puyo Puyo at £35.”

— N64 Magazine, May 1998

Before you buy

This is the Japanese cartridge, and the game came out only in Japan. Loose copies sit above most of the Japan-only group and above the 1998 median, and a complete copy costs about three times a loose one. Fake risk is low.
