A serious Formula One sim by Ubi Soft that earned good N64 reviews and an uneven verdict from CVG, and a much pricier cart in the US than in Europe.
Racing Simulation: Monaco Grand Prix is Ubi Soft Paris's Formula One game, and this is its Nintendo 64 version, released in Europe in June 1999 as Monaco Grand Prix and in North America in September 1999. Next Generation gave the N64 version a positive review, praising the tracks, cars, physics and two-player screen.
CVG's May 1999 review was cooler. It said the N64 version looks better in stills than the PlayStation one but suffers from the fuzziness and jerkiness common to N64 racers, with minimal car set-up options and a very simple Arcade Mode, though the fast handling saves it.

- Dreamcast. Edge rated the Japanese Dreamcast import six out of ten, calling it essentially the same game as the PC version without enhancements.

Before you buy
A loose US cart is well above the library median, and the fake risk is low. The PAL release costs a fraction of the US price, loose and complete, so a European copy is the cheap way in. Complete US copies cost several times the loose price, so a loose cart is the usual buy.
