“Sega owners have been waiting a long time for a good boxing cart. Virgin looks as if they have another winner.”

— Game Informer, September-October 1992

“When it comes down to it, it's the playability of the thing that really matters and unfortunately this one's a bit of a pooper.”

— Mega, May 1993

“Park Place designed this sim in which you can help the legendary Ali recapture his title by beating off nine other heavyweight challengers. The 3D boxing ring graphics, the controls and the whole feel of the game capture the atmosphere better than any other boxing game.”

— MegaTech, August 1994

“There are ten boxers you must beat before becoming the number one rank. Each boxer is superbly animated and the ringside atmosphere is terrific. Even if you're not a boxing fan, this is a real knockout.”

— Sega Pro, September 1994

Before you buy

Among US carts it sits below the middle. The European cart usually costs a little less loose but more when complete. A complete US copy means the case, cartridge and manual.
