A well-received stock-car racer with both arcade and sim sides, and one of the cheapest carts in the library.
NASCAR '99 is the second game in the EA Sports NASCAR series, developed by Stormfront Studios, and the N64 version arrived in North America in September 1998. GamePro's Air Hendrix praised the N64 game's quality stock-car action in October 1998: rookies get a bumper-grinding arcade side, while sim fans face tough CPU cars that block passing lanes. In the next issue he judged the PlayStation version slightly ahead, though not by a huge margin.

Before you buy
Low fake risk and among the cheapest carts in the library. Budget for a Controller Pak: the game manual says progress saves to a Controller Pak, not to the cartridge. PAL copies cost more than the US cart, especially complete.
