A licensed NBA game with a nod to the arcade Jam games, a middling cart on price and in ambition.
NBA Jam 2000 is a licensed basketball game for the 1999-2000 NBA season, developed by Acclaim Studios Salt Lake City and released in North America at the end of November 1999 with a PAL release in January 2000. Rosters were accurate as of October 16, 1999, though the photos and video come from the 1998-99 season. Alongside the simulation it has a Jam Mode that draws on the classic NBA Jam series.
Chris Webber is on the cover, Kevin Harlan handles the play-by-play with Marv Albert as the studio host, and Dan Roberts of the Utah Jazz provides the arena announcing.

Before you buy
The North American cartridge sits a little above the median price for the library and the fake risk is low. The PAL release is a separate cartridge that costs about the same loose and noticeably more complete. A complete copy of the North American release is worth about double the loose price, and sealed copies cost only a little more than complete ones.
