A Sega TV-quiz game for up to five players that only Japan got, and a cheap Japanese cart.

Party Quiz Mega Q is a quiz game developed and published by Sega for the Mega Drive in Japan on 5 November 1993. Players take part in a television quiz programme, answering questions in rounds with different rules and winning or losing points. It supports up to five players, with music by Hirofumi Murasaki.

Before you buy

It came out only in Japan. Among Japan-only carts it sits below the middle. The cartridge is a different shape from a Western Genesis cart and does not fit a Western console without an adapter or removing two plastic tabs in its slot. Sega Retro lists it as supported by the Team Player.
