Tetris Attack's puzzle design re-skinned with Pokemon trainers, and one of the better puzzlers on the N64.

Pokemon Puzzle League is a puzzle game from Nintendo Software Technology, released in North America in September 2000 and in PAL regions in March 2001. Electronic Gaming Monthly described it in 2001 as Tetris Attack made over with Pokemon. The player battles trainers and gym leaders on a grid, and the cast includes Ash, Pikachu, Brock, Misty and the Kanto Gym Leaders.

One review called it one of the best puzzlers on the N64, though short of Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, and GamePro's reviewer said it was designed for young gamers and encouraged creative puzzle-solving. Electronic Gaming Monthly's February 2001 issue listed it among its Nintendo 64 game-of-the-year nominees.

The US cartridge sits above the library median loose, and the fake risk is low. A complete copy costs roughly four times the loose price. PAL copies cost a little less loose and a little more complete.
