A flight-and-ground shooter from Factor 5 that pushes the N64's graphics hard.
Star Wars Episode I: Battle for Naboo is an arcade-style action game from Factor 5 and LucasArts, released in North America in December 2000 and the PAL regions in March 2001. It is a spiritual successor to Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, with a new engine and land- and water-based combat added to the air fights, and different vehicles with their own weapons and handling.
Factor 5 wrote custom microcode for the Nintendo 64's Reality Signal Processor, including a particle system whose technique for falling snow was first developed for Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. The Windows version was a port released two months after the N64 game.

“Even though many of the environments are rather plain, the vehicles look sharp, the explosions are fantastic, and the effects are simply beautiful.”
“if you liked Rogue Squadron, it’s a good bet you’ll like Naboo even more. The missions are manageable and for the most part, really fun.”
“Factor 5's reputation as masters of the N64's sound capabilities, combined with the drop-dead gorgeous hi-res visuals courtesy of the Expansion Pak, should be enough to satisfy anyone's cravings for Star Wars antics.”
