A bright Konami platformer with a standout soundtrack, and an inexpensive cart.
Konami developed and published this Genesis platformer, where you play Buster Bunny in a Tiny Toon Adventures game. It came out in North America in March 1993 and in Europe in May 1993, and it was the first Tiny Toon Adventures game on the Genesis.
Mean Machines Sega singled out the sound: it said Konami had made the Mega Drive's sound chip truly sing, with smooth, crystal-clear tunes that were worth hearing in the sound test alone. It added that experienced platform players should not expect much challenge, though the many secrets balance that out.

“All in all, a major surprise here— and a very pleasant one. After years of platform games with a day or two's worth of play value, it's nice to find one that not only lasts, but looks great, sounds great”
“Tiny Toon Adventures is a slick, fast-pace, action game that's worth a play, or three.”
“What's more, the game plays just brilliantly. I've never played a game with controls as responsive as these. The jumping controls are so perfectly tuned that when Buster leaps, he lands exactly where you want him to”
“Music? Well in true cartoon tradition it is highly annoying and insanely catchy. This game is a must for every Mega Drive owner”

Before you buy
Among US carts it sits below the middle. The European loose cart usually costs somewhat less than the US one, while complete copies cost about the same. A cardboard-box edition is priced separately from the plastic-case copy, so check which one a listing is. A complete US copy means the case or box, cartridge and manual.
