Atari Jaguar prices, all games & how to spot a fake

The Jaguar's only true RPG — and a "rare" game you may be able to buy new at retail.

A Dungeon Master-lineage first-person crawler that began on the Atari Falcon: four characters, NPC conversation, 100+ items, magic, combat, and — genuinely notable for the platform — a save function. Telegames published it in December 1996, months after Atari Corporation had merged into JT Storage, making it one of the last licensed Jaguar releases. Slow, obtuse, expects you to map things yourself; that's the genre, not a defect.

The commercial wrinkle: Telegames distributed remaining manufactured inventory through Songbird Productions, which has listed it as new, in-stock product. Not a reprint — genuine remaining stock.

Before you buy

Check Songbird's current catalog before paying secondary-market prices — a buyer who discovers new-at-retail availability after paying a rarity premium is a dispute waiting to happen, and if you're the seller, disclose it. The same availability is why counterfeit risk here is essentially zero: nobody fakes a game you can still buy new.
